Race Start

Half Marathon/10K
The half marathon and 10K will begin in Rutland, which is 4 miles northwest of Humboldt on the Three Rivers Trail.  Runners will have the option of taking a bus from the finish line in Taft Park in Humboldt to the starting area on the morning of the race.  These buses will be provided to registered runners free of charge. There will be bag service to get runners' gear to the finish line. The buses will leave Taft Park  at 8:30 am. 

5K
The 5K will start on the north side of Taft Park and end on the south side of Taft Park by the shelter house. 

Parking

Parking is available on any side street not utilized for the race .  "No Parking - Race Route" signs will indicate the race route.  Both 4th Ave and 2nd Ave are part of the course east of Taft Park.

Directions

Arriving from Highway 3
From the east on Hwy 3, you will pass under a bridge as you come down the hill into Humboldt.  Turn left onto 5th Street, which will be the first street and at the Welcome to Humboldt sign.  Follow 5th St. for five blocks until you reach Taft Park.

From the west on Hwy 3, you will reach a four way stop.  Go straight until you hit a stoplight, which will be Taft Street.  Turn right on Taft Street for 5 blocks until you reach Taft Park.

Arriving from Highway 169
From the north, you will reach a four way stop.  Turn left at the four way stop, which is the intersection with Hwy 3, and continue until you reach the stoplight.  Turn right onto Taft Street and continue for 5 blocks until you reach Taft Park.

From the south, continue into Humboldt, past the four way stop (Wildcat Road) and down the hill.  Take the first right after you cross the bridge, which will be 3rd Avenue.  Continue straight on 3rd Avenue until you reach Taft Park.
